Firstly, I am long and at a significant loss in CYMI and still intend to hold...

But, if the Q&A that NEVIN refers to is accurate, doesn't this mean that the CYMER customers have about 60% of their next quarter's inventory of lasers needed for "installation"?

Of course, with the lead time between orders and deliveries, one would expect the stepper/scanner mfgs to have an excess inventory, pegged to the total number of machines in process of construction during the quarter...any idea what a reasonable inventory of lasers should be?

Also, is there a clear point in the stepper/scanner construction at which the laser is inserted/required as opposed to the initiation of the construction(based on the expected/contracted delivery date)?

Hope my questions are clear and pertinent.

Thanks,

Fred

TG and all,

Does CYMI management have to file with the SEC to buy the 50 mill in stock back???

I hope the company buys the stock back before the shorts. This could get real interesting real fast. I would say neither has been happening lately, but IMO will start be the end of the week.

Regards,

Rob
