2020 - 2nd Hottest Year on Record
2020 was nominally the second warmest year on Earth since direct observations began. The global mean temperature in 2020 was slightly colder than 2016, but warmer than every other year since 1850. However, the difference was small enough that 2020 and 2016 could also be considered effectively tied.

Auroras look like green, wavy, semilucent, fast-moving clouds at night. Everyone should see them at least once in their lives. The black behind the green is what makes them look so cool.
