I wonder if this is legal?
Most non-union employment in the US is "at will". The agreement includes a clause like "employment can be terminated at any time for any reason of for no reason at all". I never had a problem with that because it was symmetrical, I could also terminate employment at any time for no reason at all.

Legal?

Of course. Political orientation is not a protected class.

Employment is at will. He can fire them if he doesn’t like how they part their hair.

Tenancy? If at the term of a lease, can terminate for any reason, or no reason at all.

Good for him. Elections have consequences.
