Pretty hard to disagree with McCain on that. She’s simply listening to him, the highest paid employee of the federal government, and he is unable to enunciate a cogent policy position. It has been same problem with masks, in which he has taken at least five different positions over time with no material change in the science that should be underlying the position. He has admitted to lying on multiple topics, and he should be gone. I know this is his big moment and he wants to see it through, but marginalizing him was the right decision. Biden didn’t understand that and made a mistake putting him back on the front line. One day the facts of the lives lost due to his incompetence will be out and there are going to extremely pissed people. When my wife became very ill we stopped seeing our grandchildren. That’s been months and only after being vaccinated were we able to re-engage with them. This is her reason for living and it is important. We know that Moderna reduces substantially the risk of getting sick and if you do get sick, it reduces substantially the risk of death. Enough is enough.
