Did you see that video interview of Naomi Wolf by Carlson yesterday? I believe it was posted in this thread. Really worth the five minutes. I think she's a clear-headed liberal on the issue. Making nebulous, meaningless laws like you indicated is just trouble. It is sort of the the STR reporting system. What idiot dreamed THAT up? "Suspicious transactions"? The move to strict authoritarianism under Democrats is not shocking, but it is so fast it makes one's head swim. The gun-buying panic is one result of it; right now, they cannot make guns fast enough for people to get what they want. Waiting lists have reached record waits. The Left's embracement of this collapse of individual freedom is downright bizarre to many of us who remember the 60s emphasis on freedom. What happened? How does it happen that young freedom loving people abandon principles that are long held, overnight?
