China is kicking our ass. Besides, I saw this cool YouTube video made by a Russian woman in the US. She was shocked by how little we know about our own history so she created a history test and asked Americans basic stuff. The history included everything from music to science, politics, civil rights etc. Anyway, Americans failed her test nearly 100% of the time. So here's the cool part. She takes the same test to Russia and asks young people to take the same test and they pass it with flying colors. They know more about our history than we do. At the end she asks Americans to learn our history and says they have a much longer history and they know it too. Granted Russia isn't communist anymore but it's clear to me they value education. Young Russians speak two, three, or four languages fluently.
