The issue with Texas seems to be no regulation ?

In Ontario NG is king .. in QC.. Electric unless off grid then propane/wood really so little NG .. For Ontario NG is simply the BEST solution right now

BTW as I have said MANY times.. renewable not a problem.. Texas will learn from northern climes where Wind works in the friggin cold.. !!! NO PROBLEM!!!

Those ridiculous prices would simply not happen here.. irrespective of governing party

25-39 cents/kwh, depending on usage.

pge.com

Jan was the first time this billing year (July-June) that I used any; 9.5 kwh. We didn't have any rain in Nov and Dec, so I stayed ahead. Right now, I'm up 377kwh. They paid me $107 last year. There is a fee to be hooked up; costs me about $10/month, but my carbon dividend covers most of it.
