It is increasing
or
What doesn't work

Uncontrolled train movement is increasing.

Transportation Safety Board link : Unplanned/uncontrolled movement of rail equipment

<<Unplanned/uncontrolled movements of rail equipment create high-risk situations that may have
catastrophic consequences. Between 2010 and 2019, the trend of unplanned/uncontrolled movements
was on an upward trajectory.>>

I have a really beautiful railroad watch, it belonged to my Grandfather.
It was purchased in 1915, you can find it in The Gray Book , he worked for the railroad his entire life.
The watch has the CP beaver logo on the gearworks and all the calibration records etched in the case.
Both of my Grandfathers were engineers on the railroad.
I found the watch in my mother's jewelry box after she died.
She never realized it was a highly collectible watch because similar watches are on ebay for about $75.
The similarity is skin deep, once the back of the watch is opened you can see it is a RR watch.
Collectors are willing to pay several thousands of dollars for the real McCoy.

Ooooo,,, another violation,,,,,the new infraction article does not mention the percentage grade on which the train was left to ascertain

how many hand brakes that ””should”” have been applied under new rule 66.

How long will it take the TSB to report that CP management was beyond naughty to instruct prior “”runaway “”train crew to apply brake retainers

on a train with

insufficient air. Negligence squared!
