Paul M. ***Off Topic***

There is almost zero chance of an interest rate move tomorrow and furthermore, the consensus is that the Fed will move from a bias toward tightening from last Nov/Dec to a neutral stance for the time being. There is equally a miniscule, (microscopic) chance that the Fed would ease at this point. I think Milton was talking about the improbability of "Deflation" not disinflation. We are already enjoying disinflation.

Off Topic: Paul, I think FOMC will most likely leave things alone,I mean why mess with something that is working.Just my opinion. As for people who worries about disinflation[is it not deflation?] I don't know what to say except that they might be overlooking the fact that raw material costs might be on the rise in these S.E.Asian countires as they need to import most of these stuff, and this factor if it is true could help contain any deflationary[disinflation, don't think so] pressures.
