Not to worry about Norwest. NOB, like Wells, seems to me to just be keeping options open, encouraging a little competition for CKFR to keep it honest and keep some pricing pressure on. But it doesn't change the fact that CKFR has a huge lead. And, according to Pete Kight, a WIDENENING lead. And doesn't change the fact that NOB (through Integrion) will have an ownership interest in CKFR.

I found it interesting that the release stresses the "no cost to banks" angle. Looks like MSFDC is offering to give the service away to banks, hoping to make billers pay all the freight. Now I understand a little better what Pete Kight was talking about when he said MSFDC's pricing model wouldn't work because billers wouldn't stand for paying 100%.

This is getting interesting!
