There may be one or two funds that did OK. But in general, the whole economy and the stock market are controlled by mafia. I would not bet on any investment (or any bussiness) in a country driven by the law of the gun inslead of the law of the courts. There is enough uncertainty in the market as it is, no need to add the mafia-related uncertainty. IMHO, of cause...

About of the warmf and generosity of russian people - it is all true. About cocroaches in the hospitals - true too. About the fact that eveything is based on how to bribe officials - true too. But again, nobody but a russian doctor can perform heart surdery in these conditions... Russians are truely strange but amasing people.
