John, I wasn't joking about antennas. At the CES, I noticed that John Taylor picked up on this, too. When the subject was being addressed at a session on new technologies, John started writing lots of notes.

Interesting article:

PUBLIC BROADCASTING REPORT : Arrival of DTV meant significant renewed interest in over-air antennas here, including special "antenna farm" intended to highlight antenna technologies and panel session on antenna issues. Since many cable systems aren't likely to carry true HDTV in short term, antennas are only way that many consumers will receive local DTV signals. "DTV makes antennas more important than ever," said Charles Sherman , NAB senior vp-TV, at session on issue here. "We wish the whole world was still on antennas."

Hope that Taylor followed up on this. Zenith could make a ton of $ selling Zenith-labeled antennas, too.
