It's funny but as you correlated the older one gets the more he (or she) realizes that they don't know everything.

Gads, I try to keep learning but the knowledge base keeps growing faster than my ability to absorb it!

Isn't that the truth! I think that's one of the reasons that many people (present company included) let their fitness decline - because in their mind they are still fit or their is plenty of opportunity to get back into shape "later". However, later is too convenient, and never seems to come.....
