Instead, the mayor decided, "Hey, let's give these thugs jobs, guaranteed income, and hope for the future!" I get your point, but this is one instance of thuggery. I don't know the statistics. If there is a trend of violence toward Chinese then it needs to be stopped. I don't think all violence can be stopped. Too many crazies around. I have friends of Chinese and Japanese decent. Very good decent people, who as a people have suffered historic prejudice. This country has a disgusting racist past.
