About DEMO '98

This is an exclusive conference and an excellent opportunity for Brock. Here are some excerpts from the Demo '98 press release:

SAN MATEO, Calif. _ Dec. 3, 1997 _ Out of the literally hundreds of products and technologies that are vying for a spot on-stage at Demo 98, only 60 of the upcoming year's most strategic innovations will be selected. And, for the first time in the conference's eight-year history, every demonstration will feature a never-before-seen product or technology personally chosen by Chris Shipley, industry analyst and executive producer of Demo 98.

"Demo has always showcased the products and technologies that will define the market in the coming year," Shipley said. "The R&D tour is designed to take that concept a step further by providing an inside look at emerging technologies that will impact the market two or three years from now. This is just one more example of the unique and valuable opportunities that Demo offers its attendees."

Because only one out of every seven products that are pitched actually make it to Demo, Demo has earned a reputation as the industry's most prestigious executive conference. The Demo attendee list reads like a "Who's Who" in the technology and financial communities. Attendance is limited to 800 and includes key decision-makers from leading technology companies, enterprising start-ups, key venture capital and financial service organizations, and Fortune 500 companies, as well as leading business and technology editors and broadcasters.
