*AV* -- You are a Heathen and deserve the slings and arrows of infamy for shorting the "Home of the Fribble". How could you??? They just went public recently, didn't they??? I live for the moments when I go back East and can get a Fribble, the only milkshake in the universe that you can't suck through a straw but have to eat with a spoon. It's UNAMERICAN, it's like going against Mom, Apple Pie, and the Bald Eagle.

BTW-How much do you think we could make by shorting the stock???

All caught up now. Browser and ISP connection real poor. The heat is on for, YES, #12,000. We a approaching the one year anniversary of the beginning of this thread by yours truly. We have just a little more than a week to get ip up to #12,000 for yours truly. the hunt is on. Readership and participation needs to grow dramatically to accomplish the task at hand<GGG>.

Re: Friendly's

I would probably rank Friendly's as one of the worst chain of restaurants at which I have ever eaten. Lousy atmosphere, lousy service, and lousy food.

However, if you want ice cream, it's one of the few remaining places of that ilk, and if you have kids (assuming you can cram them in the small booths), it's a good place to take them.

Back when I was growing up, it was the place to eat and we used to go all the time. How times have changed.
