At the time of the topping calls last summer on Gold, I gave a hint to where gold is headed.

Fundamentally, a fair number would be an average of Gold's ...

1) last 100 years average price ratio to silver - 50 to 1 = $1300
2) cost of a fine tailored suit = price of 1 ounce of gold - $1,000 according to these guys.

So around $1,150 is my best guess on fair value. The $600 excess in current price is just a "gotcha premium" that got built in ahead of the pandemic by the tipped off speculators.

Technically, I dont have an established objective aside from the lower tine of the pitchfork being met, which is around $1600, as seen in this post.

Once that's tagged, the subsequent rally should fill out the far right side of a down pitch fork drawn from last summer's peak which should yield a deep target well below $1200.
