"Try" means I'll do my best. And if I do try, yes, it would be with both feet on the ground. Of course, I may get shot down before even one foot comes close to the ground, but nothing ventured nothing gained. But if I am successful, as I wrote, whoever invests in our shared vision would be in on the ground floor if the idea does go viral. If I fail, there goes a chunk of my life I'll never get back, and we'll all lose money. Regardless, I would cap any contributions at $2K a person (unless interest is less than I anticipate) and max out total investment at about $400K.

I just tried to start a new board on SI and got this "error":

Your account has been been blocked from creating new subjects. This likely means your account has been flagged as abusing this priveledge.

Aside from the fact that "privilege" is badly misspelled, this was a surprise. This board is the only one I have ever started on SI. I suppose I will rot in hades forever for doing that!

It seems the administration of SI would want to encourage activity such as starting new discussion boards given the current state of site.
