Jan 27, 1998 - S&P analyst Aydin Tuncer maintains an accumulate on DSC Communications (
DIGI) despite lower than expected fourth quarter earnings per share. He said that at 12 times his 1999 earnings per share estimate, DIGI should outperform the market.

Same old story, Fri and today. DSC goes down faster than market but when market goes up, it hardly budges. Look at how ADCT has rebounded compared to DSC.
I think part of the problem, besides lack of credibilty (why should anyone believe story of Celcore, when NKT continues to be worse than DIGI predicts), is concern that to make Q4 that DIGI had to discount a lot at end of Q, which ate into Q1 sales. DIGI was known for this in the past. Street talk is (for what it is worth, prob not much) is that this Q is off to a VERY weak start compared to expectations. I hope they are wrong as my av cost is 23.
For those who lambasted Morg Stan and UBS for their neutral ratings, you were right, they were wrong, but for the wrong reasons. This stock is really a market underperformer.
