A dentist friend has declined the vaccine thus far. One of his assistants received both doses, the hygienist refuses. So is it acceptable to ask your healthcare providers if they have been vaccinated, and if not, why? As a public health measure, I would think it essential, but perhaps a fine line between discrimination and Darwinian selection.

Do not quote me on the numbers, but i had the impression over the call that ... 1. Pfizer trial involved 40,000 volunteers, 50/50 on placebo/ vaccine 2. But most volunteers were not in the hot zones 3. Of the 40k folks, ~10% disappeared from the face of the earth and untraceable, leaving the pool of ~36-37K 4. Of the total pool ~100 folks got the virus, at a rate of 10:1 between control and vaccinated sub-groups 5. Whatever the case, CEO of Pfizer sold his shares at 39, and now the shares at 34 6. The issue appears to be the low incidence of confirmed cases as % of pool, meaning not a lot of folks got sick in any case, and no one can be sure of LT safety, and the coming variants IOW, the vaccine changes not very much. The vaccinated cannot safely mingle or fly, and more shots required as the situation evolves, even as the economy shall soon realize not all is cracked up to be, I guess be the msg. I am agnostic, but take the scientist’s message at face value, to consider The variants can quickly change the scenery, and as allegedly vaccinated people fall ill, should such happen, TeoTwawKi, even if the infection rate remains benign at 100 / 40000
