Bill, I don't have a racist bone in my body. According to the left, you do. In fact, every part of your body, including your bones, is racist simply because you were born white. You may not think you're being racist, but everything you do, every unconscious action, every thought you have, just screams "white supremacy," according to the woke left. Do you believe in equal opportunity? You're racist, because you assume that black people are born with the privileges you have. Do you believe in a color-blind society? Once again, you're racist because you don't see the unequal outcomes between the races. Do you believe that people ought to be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character? You're racist because you are appropriating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and trying to turn his words against the "anti-racists." The next time you debate a leftist over race, remember that YOU'RE the "racist," and that all of society's racial issues can be solved if you first acknowledge that and resolve to become "anti-racist." It's lunacy, but it's the simplest explanation for how the left treats race these days. And this mentality is being fostered by all of the major corporations, almost all of Hollywood, most of the media, and almost all of academia from kindergarten to college. If you don't believe me, then like I said, ask yourself which ideas get you sponsorships from Nike, Disney, Google, and Apple, and which ideas get you fired.
