March 1st is realistically the end of winter in Seattle, I spent the last week cutting back perennials and doing some light pruning....really looking forward to spring taking off.

OT Morning Steve (et al). Multiple feet of snow on the ground here, haven't had much of a thaw this winter.
Skiing conditions have been fantastic, haven't seen any snow guns blowing snow for quite sometime now, that's a savings for the mountain operators. That said, looks like next week we may start to get a warm up and I am looking forward to it (lol!).Still a few months to go before any thoughts of shrubs and gardening will come into play. Thinking about doing some siding on my house to match my garage I did a few years back.
But......I don't even want to think about what the cost of preprimed hemlock clap board is going for now :(.
I've avoided getting a current quote (g). Maybe the cost of stainless ring shank nails has come down to help offset the cost (ha,ha..ya right (g))

(11 degrees this morning)
