Yes, there were some picks that were certainly NOT in the true "Donald Trump Mould" ..... McConnell's wife comes to mind. But there were those who needed Senate Approval and I believe he was getting "Advice(?)" from McConnell as to who would "fit the bill" .... e.g. the last 3 Supreme Court Judges, Bill Barr, etc... I suspect that Donald may not have been 100% happy with them, maybe 85% happy. But he knew that he would need McConnell's "influence" in the Senate in order to get the necessary votes, so he very likely "bit the bullet" and went with who was recommended ..... I believe IT WILL BE VERY DIFFERENT NEXT TIME ...........
