Patricia and Raven, from my years in marketing the average conversion of leads to sales is between 1.5% and 3% and great conversion being 5%. If that translates to FONAR it means 8 to 15 machines for the average and 25 machines for the high side. HOWEVER, this is not based on fact, just my own experience. Bruce

Patti, Yes, the RSNA was advertising. But advertising studies show that more than one exposure is important to close sales, and Fonar hasn't followed up, as far as we know. So they could lose their momentum from the show without additional advertising. As has already been pointed out, the percentage of sales usually coming from leads is not that high, so they probably do need additional advertising. Linda

TO ALL, A LITTLE STORY ABOUT A LITTLE CO. - Can you see the Big Picture . It's right in front of you. It's being assembled like a puzzle piece by piece. It started with an idea. The idea continued slowly to become a small co. The small co. struggled with one product against larger competitors for years. The small co. became smaller and the idea almost died. But suddenly because of strong patents, the will to live and the heart of one man this little co. has come back. It has rebuilt itself. This little co. first stood up to all its competitors and received the lost revenues it was do. Second invented a new age Open MRI machine for future sales. Third built a state of the art manufacturing plant to build new products . Fourth started Medical SNI which invented the Teleradiology System that will be a key part of this little co's future. Fifth this co. started and continues to build a new division called HMC. This division had centers with only MRI , then HMCpurchased centers that has Cat scans , x-ray, Ultra sound and Physical theropy . The co. then purchased physicians practices which does billing for them . The division then purchased a Medical Supply co. So now the doctors who we do billing for can not only get MRI but also Cat Scans, X Ray, Ultra Sound and send for Physical Theropythru the centersand send to the Medical Supply Co. for a neck brace or other form of aide. Sixth a new invention called OR 360 which will lead the world in MRI Guided Surgery. And thru this all, this co. has orders for 25 Quads with many more soon to come. You know this because the co. is hiring new employees including management for HMC, adding extra shifts and generally moving one step at a time to add one piece at a time to the puzzle. Now after only 5 years from this little co's original notice to GE this little co. has 3 divisions Medical SNI, HMC and The MRI manufacturing division. It has large sums of money in the bank for R&D and expansion and more on the way. It has little debt. It has new vitality and the will to live and grow. Did and does this look like this little co. had and has a plan ? It does to me. What about you ? This little story is about a little co. called Fonar and the man with the idea and heart is Dr. Damadian. This is how a puzzle and a co. is put together piece by piece to show the BIG PICTURE. I GUESS WALL STREET IS WAITING FOR THE WHOLE PICTURE TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE THEY CAN SEE WHAT WE HERE ALREADY SEE. YOUR THOUGHTS FRANK
