If today HRBC hadn't shown some bounce and strength in the light of the buying fever I would be buying those puts with you. We really missed the good put prices when the stock was up nearer 30. I will be watching for more "bounce" so I can resell Feb calls and make it a double bagger this month on the covered calls.

Sorry about those links from the Yahoo board, not very informative. There really wasn't any news, just risk considerations with earnings due this week.

Can you explain a little more what you meant about the First Call flag? <<It is impossible to get. Never mind its 2 G's a month but you are not allowed to get it unless you are on the buy side>>

Slim

First Call earnings are part of Quote.com's basic service. Is there anyone lurking who can look at that for us?

Zack'lowered HRBC (past week)from hold to sell. This was based on a lowering of the consensus 1997 earnings from $0.55 to $0.54.

Note that the 4 qtrs add to $0.55. Anyway, I will be more than happy with $0.54 cents even though less will not be good for short term. Recent mergers often carry hidden costs, but the end result in this case is going to allow us to beat future estimates. $0.87 for next year should be increased during the first half if we keep the same marketing focus that is in place and achieve any economies of scale as we grow. Any objections to this projection?

BTW, my thanks to SI for the new Spell Check feature. Now they need to suggest correct spelling alternatives. No hurry, just a suggestion.
