Hi Joe, This is going to be tough, as I remember things rather poorly (cuz I'm older than dirt:). Little back story, my PC did boot up with the 5900X initially. Dual boot system, the the Linux distro being first in order. So, Elementary booted right up, no issues. I restarted to select win 10, which hung. Booted into bios after going to MSI's page for driver and utilities (on a 2nd PC) and grabbing the latest bios for the MPG B550 Gaming Wifi. Insert the USB with bios and select flash bios. Fiddleduck with the flash settings (not intuitive to me) and finally see the correct bios, then insert a pen into the flash bios button on the IO plate. Voila!, or something like that. Updated the bios, shutdown and re-installed the 5900X and booted up straight away. Have played with ram timings and overclock settings just a little bit at this point. So far so good!
