Way way off topic. On the subject of stupid things you've done in your life. I think you'd find it hard to top this hard headed ex music producer. on the subject of bush powell chaney etc.... IMO they made a complete mess of the gulf war as they left saddam there which showed complete mis- understanding of the long term threat. and has led to endless appeasment. it is my opinion that for better ot worse clinton is a president who likes his people be they white yellow black muslim christian and of course women with short skirts. I like him for that and excuse him a lot. he really is IMO president of all the people. on top of which he has a firm and realistic grasp of issues. imagine dole bumbling us into the twenty-first century.... I probably could say more but this is not the thread for it... so lets leave it like this. amat is a stock that will benefit from clintonomics, and i am long on both amat and clinton. I expect to see 40 around earnings and at least four bucks per share in the year 2000. I also expect to see huge consolidation over next six months to allow this to take place....
