Heard head of research of a big firm say that the Asian mess won't
show in the balance sheets of US companies for another few quarters..
also fits in with end of bull market possibly in 1999..who knows..
anyways..
pretty frustrating being a fundamentalist right? who cares if most of
the companies are bankrupt and "blood in the streets" might not be
a metaphor..if S.(cheating because always make mistakes spelling his
name) could kill how many people in Timor..obviously if the populace
starts something, who knows what he will do to protect his little
"estate".
would love to know what Rubin thought about that 14 percent move in Indonesia..wonder if there was a rumor that S. was spending his rumored 30 billion rather than the IMF's money..(just kidding)
Did you read the article in Sunday New York Times about the IMF?
(what do they serve for drinks for the New Year :> )
