I don’t know. I’m actually 500 miles from the site where they are doing this. If I were doing it I’m sure I would have chosen m.2. But I usually start with Lenovo servers which I have had good luck with and just get whatever parts they recommend. I say “usually” but my server building days are over, I just take care of setting up the domain controller and local applications, etc. this is all stuff that can be done remotely. My days of lugging hardware are behind me lol.
