Rav sorry I have been digging for more on Arcon which I just posted so now I have some back up to do.

~ I didn't ask you bec. I was concerended about the price. I just wanted to understand what you meant and I think you didn't read carefully enuff as the discrepency in 40K and 37.5 wan't 200.. ~

Well there were a lot of cancelations today on a lot of what looked like sells. However the sells did get posted and once the cancelation came in they had to adjust the stock volume because of the error. (yeah right)

~ What was your motive of buying 100 shares and why was the MM crosstrading to your trade of 100 with his? ~

They were cross trading to show a lower amoung that the ask and I made a market order to make the last trade be at the ask. They did not like that one bit so they countered. I did to see if they would dare let it close at the ask. NO WAY that would show a bigger gain for the day. Someone does not want interest in this account. IMO

~ And what is cross trading. ~

That is what I call it because a buy comes in and the MM goes to another MM and buys the stock. That buy since it is lower shows as a sell which is BULL to me and closely reminds me of a cross trade. Just another tactic.

~ For instance if no body is selling a particular share then how could anyone be able to acquire that share? ~

From a MM inventory

~ DO MMs have shares in their own inventory of shares? ~

Yes and broker will buy shares into an inventory at a rock bottom price then sell them to there clients as the price goes up.

Hope this helps but it is my opinion.

Happy trading
