Larry McMillan - the Tuesday March 23 internals were terrible.
Although the major averages didn’t necessarily reflect that.

Breadth was so bad that it was almost a 90% down day (in “stocks only” terms),
and new lows outnumbered new highs (with new lows above 100 issues)
for the first time in almost a year

$NYAD - daily NYSE Advancers minus Decliners # count -

* the $NYAD daily values smoothed with 5-day & 8-day SMA achieved a new multi-month high by
both moving averages on Monday February 8,
and
bulls currently want to see the two moving averages recapture & actually hold above their zero line for
multiple days/weeks

10-day upward breadth thrusts as defined by Walter Deemer in his article titled
Breakaway Momentum 101 are extremely rare over the recent 20 years
