"The Reddits that currently suffer PTSD from the recent collapse to the 50 DMA" in GME.

GME did fall to the 50MA, then at $50... stayed at or below it for 9 trading days...

Today it closed at $265... after trading between $175 and $350.

GME only had 4 trading days in February at or above this level... has been rising again for the last 2 weeks.

I do have a new theory or two about GME...

First, after poking at crypto a bit more today... I'll post on that separately... I became aware that Robinhood is really about the only stock broker out there that has been an active crypto trading participate for a while... with a lot of the traders there now whose accounts are probably fueled by crypto profits... The madness in the market probably is more about crypto funded Robinhood traders than it is about Reddit hosted conversations...

Second, while others have pointed out the affinity of the digital generation to video games... claiming that as the reason they're supportive of GME... is because hare core digital warriors prefer shopping for their video games... AT THE MALL ? LOL!!! I'm not buying that...

Instead, I suspect... the choice was more whimsical... the assault on the stock market "because we can"... and the choice of vehicle... because the name itself is the message sent to the Wall Street crowd: Game Stop.

In itself... that might be interesting enough... but, the assumption on the part of Wall Street... "whew, glad that's over"... seems now to be premature... and, yet... sort of like the rise in the Ten Year... no one is talking about it as "They're Back"... If any of that is right... the most important part is probably in the existence of the portal made apparent between crypto trading profits... and the impact they're having on the market...

And, that isn't looking like its about their lack of trading experience, to me... but about their having caught "the professionals" with their pants around their ankles...
