RE: 50% Retracement?

Truff,

>> I still look for that 50% retracement (up to 10.25 - 10.375 or so), but when, I couldn't hazard a guess. <<

Tell me more about retracement. I've only seen one stock where I recognized a retracement (probably because I've never watched for it before), and it was a 100% retracement (followed by a huge decline). The stock [not IOM] traded from $11 up to $23 over the course of a year, announced bad news, traded at $16 for a few weeks, then gradually went up to $18, was upgraded, and almost immediately went to $23 3/4. I bought at $16 (after the bad news) and sold at $23 just 45 days later. Very lucky, considering it was my first stock purchase ever.

Also, I just looked at a couple stocks that had really sharp drops in the past six months (ORCL and CS) and couldn't find any noticable retracement.

Truff, as a fan of thestreet.com, do you have any thoughts on the
ramifications of Herb Greenburg's newfound soapbox?

Does it portend ill for iom?
