Even if AMD could solve their yield problems in both .35um and .25um
technologies, AMD's device design in both processes will assure that
AMD has lower performing CPU's. Intel can always ship high speed and
continue to drop the price on the low-mid range CPU's. Remember John,
February 7th is coming up ... where are the AMD 266mhz and 300mhz notebook
CPU's. I hope that you will finally realize what I have been posting
is correct ... That is ... AMD is at least 2 speed bins behind Intel
for desktop and notebook CPU's (in any resonable volume).
