Then why did ET have to go to court when Chesapeake went under and tried to stiff them out of 300 Mil.

Producers agreed upfront to use allotments of the pipelines so they would be built to their locations. Midstreams need some stability before they will spend capital on projects so want some commitment upfront. I stand by my statement, when the price of oil dropped and small drillers went under, midstreams took hits to their revenues.
I bought ET, OKE, KMI, MMP during the swoon. I'm out of most of them now. I always sell too soon.
