I guess with earnings out soon, we'll find out if NSM's troubles have anything to do with ADI's future prospects. I'm still accumulating.

Since we're comparing power regulator manufacturer's results you'll want to look at BBRC's recent results:

Certainly paints a different picture than NSM and I'm expecting ADI's results to look more like BBRC and MXIM with a very good picture going forward. I doubt that any one segment of ADI's business could drag down their upcoming results significantly (this past Q). What's really odd is that everybody keeps trying to compare ADI to some company or sector that doesn't really fit. I'm not sure who they compare to well - it depends on what product you're comparing.

These drops seem like opportunity to me.
