last night I went both ways, given that am unsure of the right way shorted puts of finance.yahoo.com because of the reward for signing up. Actually had a few goes at SA as effort to build up my virtual / synthetic mine comprised of DRD gold-yielder and SBSW PGM-techno-yielder, but still missing the gold-streamer FNV and the blue sky that is SA. I was simply never putted SA as I either rolled and traded out subsequent to roll, or was not met by strike-pricing. I do not really expect to be put SA at 15, but who can know anything in a market where all sorts of things can happen? I also shorted covered calls of SBSW finance.yahoo.com I thought the price should have dropped due to ex--dividend, but thought wrong per wtf. Luckily I only shorted calls covering a portion of my SBSW.
