Yes, but in our case, we were hit by the false positive hammer.

Reports are all over the place with regard to how many positive results are actually false. My wife said it's 20%. She's a medical professional (doctor of pharmacy), so I trust her.

With regard to false negatives, that is something to be aware of. It seems the rapid result test is better suited for people who are healthy and need to be tested often to make sure they remain uninfected. It's not so good for people who have symptoms unless it is followed up with the normal test.

Either way, we have to trade accuracy for speed.
