Dennis

I would wait for a 10 to 20% pullback before buying here.

Of course that assumes that we don't get a big positive earnings suprise after the close tomorrow.

regards

Eric

<<would you buy more or wait for a pull back>>

I think the valuation of CSCO is too high for a buy at this level, and personally seldom buy a stock that is retreating in price. So that leaves out buying any more CSCO right now. In addition, I have put a stop market sell at 60. That way if we see a drop in price, I keep my profits and if we have a blow out quarter (and we need one) I still have the stock.

At the end of the trading day we had a bid size of 555 and a sell size of 18. So the increase in price should continue. But I dont know what is driving the price. There is a slow down in earnings acceleration and we are at the high end of valuation.

Doing some quick calculations, I get a 24% 12 month increase this quarter from the previous second quarter 12 month earnings, and 24% quarter to quarter, with the 3rd quarter showing 26% and 28% respectively. Compared to the 60% increase in FY96 and 47% in FY97, there had better be some good news in the earnings announcement.

Just my humble opinion though.
