For the last 16 years or more since the Y2K debacle that stocks were valued by "eyeballs" the markets are not free markets anymore and several very big hedge funds managing $$ trillions are in charge of the markets and work in concert with the FED US Treasury ECB or Central Banks of China and Japan or UK. etc.
Just follow where the former heads of CBanks go for employment after finishing they assignment.

I have not seen many going to help manufacturing enterprises.- it is too hard to face the real actual markets of produced goods and guide the company to profitability.

Therefore, the correlation that was more or less between asset classes in 1970/80/90 got totally mismatched

Today without inside policy information you only ride the ripples.

One good example was crude oil who went to $-37 per barrel a year ago and now was pushed over $60 - that is a $100 move just thanks to market participants.

They leave US treasuries yield go up not because inflation expectations but to hold up the USD value.

Higher yield = more paper money buyers

Very simple. - it is all mixed up and thinking about valuation as in 1980 is not fashionable anymore, See TLSE or GME and examples are plenty

It is all "sentiment" of speculators same as solving a formula you get a compensation of $55,000 that is called "Bitcoin" - plain insanity IMHO.
