Ron,
I agree with you.Why would the XOI have jacked up today with oil dropping unless there was an underlying belief that oil has stabilized? I am expecting the OSX to finish higher by friday.105+ close is my target without a friday selloff.

Man we are in the dumps - Big Dog, GD and now Lucianno leaving the thread. Dow is up over 500 points in the last two weeks and well my sweet portfolio is still at a 52 week low and looks like it wants to go lower. Oil has firmed and still no buying in this sector. I think it is hilarious that fund managers are buying tech stocks like WDC that are bleeding cash and will for some time and yet they say well even though PDS is going to earn 2.50 in 98 I am not willing to take the risk of buying a 5 p/e stock. The el nino effect is here unfortunately all the rain is coming down on this thread....

Hey lets see maybe I will buy a commodity box maker like Dell and pay say 35X for an industry that has lots of new capacity and overproduction problems. Value is in the eye of the ....

Ron, just came from your site. Changes needed.

1. Move MDCO and CDG to the shallow/deepwater drillers category.
2. Rename Driller Services to General Oil Services (GOS)
3. Move SLB to GOS category

Look fantastic overall. With the impressive response you've got, this can be a model for future fee-based expansion. If you have an ambition to start an individual TA reading service, let me know. This is a niche market that surprisingly is not saturated at all.

Dave,
Bromiliads(?) are a funny bunch. I don't have a green thumb for them. You must have a greenhouse.

I thought pineapples are part of the Bromeliads genus. How do you plant pineapples in your yards? I certainly don't have a greenhouse and my investment is looking bleaker and bleaker. Don't think I can sell'em back to the store, you think? Bummer. Definitely a lesson learned - never invest in anything one knows nothing about. I wish I can grow a papaya in the darn frozen backyard. The best tasting papaya is one that gets pissed on - this one I know for sure because I proved it to myself before.

You know, Ron, I was looking at the $OSX chart, and everytime we went down, it was for a shorter duration. Perhaps tomorrow will be an up day... It looks like it may be to me. I can dream, can't I?
