Bruce, without better transparency of CTYS accounting, I could not say what is in the future for that stock. What seems to me the case now, it is becoming a "Pump and Dump" situation. The shorts love it, since every so often some people sing the glory of the stock's future (such as "double digits before the end of the year, which just at $10/share would probably means a capitalization of about $1 billion when their total outstanding mortgages are about $2 billions- simply ridiculous). One must think that people that have $55 MM tied up in the floorless know much better than us what the true situation is, and would use the occasion of the current low price to convert. If they did, we would know at once since a suit would be brought by them against CTYS for not being able to honor their contract due to the ceiling of 100 MM shares of CTYS. I conclude that the floorless have not converted most of this as yet, probably because they still feel better collecting interest than owning the company.

I would be quite surprised if this stock goes above $1 for any length of time, probably just long enough for the convert to lay out some additional shorts, if at all.

As for registration or calling of shares, go and see what happened to the faithfuls at RMIL. It would also be helpfull to recognize that the free float is at least 25 MM shares not 10 MM as quoted on Yahoo's CTYS profile. The same error should be observed with the false book value cited there. Call the company and ask them what is the current book value.
