After reading Oppenheimer statement I guess KRY will have the dominant role in the Venezuela Mining industry because they will be the only company left in that country. Why would anyone invest in Venezuela after what might happen to Placer? 110 million investment loss. Winner's KRY shareholders and the new additions to the board of KRY. I not sure what will happen to the industry but this is not a positive thing for that country. I feel sorry for the Venzuelan who works for $5US per day. He will be another loser as is Placer. Any thoughts what might happen to the mining industry and future investment or does anyone care? If Placer loses, Can they sue the CVG or the Venezuelan goverment?
