This stock never seems to be able to break through resistance!!! Even a day like this when the DOW and NASDAQ rallied, IDTI was down. Traders just cannot seem to hold on to this one. Two years of this 9-15 cycle is wearing me down.

Any medium to long termers think this one is worth holding for another two years?

For a while I have been investing more by the axiom; "think long term, invest short term." To me that means to find stocks that have good fundamentals and are in a general broad trend and business cycle and then invest by the numbers using TA and your knowledge of the factors most likely to efect the stock and market. I sold the stock a bit too soon at around 13 and more recently (last Thursday) sold naked calls. I should have sold some more this morning but did not watch the price action closely enough to do so.

A good free (delayed) site to watch price action is; quote.com

Watching price action is not just of value to traders because it gives you insight into who is buying and selling and what the psychology of the market is. This may seem like a puzzling and boring thing to spend time on, but it kinda grows on you as you learn to judge the likely meaning of the ticker. Long-term investors can benefit by timing their invesments more carefully. Timing of buying and selling stocks or options is one of the most important things about investing. Otherwise its sort of like putting an ad in the paper that you want ot buy a car and are willing to pay X$ regardless of what the thinking or mood of the seller is.
