Stocks are safer than Bitcoin:
1. My brokers keep my stocks. The stocks are insured.
2. No need to remember passwords for stocks.

Nassim Taleb is no longer a fan of BTC.

His reasoning is interesting: a proper currency shouldn’t be more volatile than the goods it purchases. This is a good point, but doesn’t take into account the fact that BTC is still in a period of price discovery itself.

Powell also made interesting comments today. As a store of value, he found it lacking for the obvious reason: extreme volatility. The tone of his comments was dismissive, which is a plus given the existence of regulatory risk.
