Thanks for the info, I appreciate your ability to see deeper into these situations.Do you think this is an investor who is neutral on the stock or what? thebeach, I would assume this investor feels downside on Ascend is minimal. This person/institution feels Ascend will move sideways through expiration. Note expiration is before earnings will be out for Q1 98. Not bad thinking either. The profit is limited to the two points per share controlled by the option contracts. The other side of the coin is the investor did not tie up cash and can enter another position at the same time without paying margin interest. Glenn
