why they were waiting so long for Dan to take over, Maybe because as long as they keep doing the Rush Limbaugh Show his salary keeps flowing to his wife. Not that she needs it but nobody leaves $10s of millions on the table unnecessarily. It's possible that the Bongino and Limbaugh shows could be competitors in the time slot.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT that Dan Bongino will do a Fantastic Job when he moves into the Rush Limbaugh Time Slot. Dan has repeatedly and publicly said that he is Extremely Honoured and Humbled to be doing this because of how he held Rush Limbaugh IN SUCH HIGH REGARD, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF WHAT LIMBAUGH DID WITH REGARD TO CONSERVATIVE TALK RADIO ...... as Dan stated, "Rush Limbaugh INVENTED the National Conservative Talk Radio Game ..." But don't take my input about this, here's Dan to give all the details ....... (from 2:38 onward) ..... And Dan has also said that doing this Rush Limbaugh time slot WILL, IN NO WAY, AFFECT HIS CURRENT DAILY PODCAST, "THE DAN BONGINO SHOW" ........ That will CONTINUE AS NORMAL. I hope that clears up any Doubts or Confusions or Speculations .......

I remember wondering why they were waiting so long for Dan to take over, but don't remember exactly when it was scheduled. I believe that Dan Bongino was chosen to permanently replace Rush Limbaugh, but perhaps something happened change the plans. However, this was published one day ago - see the very last paragraph in italics: Dan taking over the air ways slot is not taking over for Rush. His show is still airing and they feature current news along with clips from Rush expounding on similar circumstances. There uis some sort of memorial service on Rush's web site immediately after the broadcast on Friday. I think there will be blips from the real President.
