Wood chips travel in containers on ships.

Even the least costly computer chips are air freighted.

One small cargo van at Heathrow airport contained boxes filled with $10 million in computer chips. - cnet.com

Even the largest chip fabs would have to stockpile most of a year's output to fill a single sea-going shipping container. Nobody does that.

Not only world's biggest container ship blocked the Suez Canal this week.
They even mocked it with this excavator picture !


The draft of the ship is 50 feet
Digging a little hole not going to make much of a difference.

I read that the ship crossed the edge of the channel by 20 feet.
