I'm finding it surprising and interesting that the investigative function wrt Trump turned out to be a corporate suit for damages.

After Trump rode roughshod over our institutions--disabling the FBI by politicization, the inspector general corps by firing or intimidation, and the legislative committees by refusing to recognize subpoenas--there was nothing left to use for investigation, no mechanism to get to the truth. Then out of nowhere come the suits from the voting machine vendors, which will provoke discovery and testimony.

Who'd a thunk it...

I'm drawing a blank on which corporations might have cause and standing to sue any of the mainstream media over their "lies." Perhaps that's failure of imagination on my part but it doesn't seem likely.
