All the live gigs in New York City went away for a year.... he'd been teaching part-time at the NY School
for the Blind for awhile... and when the school went to remote learning, several other teachers said they
couldn't do that. So he picked up a bunch of extra work. But since it's all remote, he got out of NYC
and now lives in a rental in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. He's doing OK. I don't know if he'll ever go back to the full time music gig in NYC... could be a midlife career change.
A couple of years ago his band from the school.. a group of blind teens, won a music competition at the U.N.
They then got to play with Stevie Wonder. That was quite a highlight.
